O U R VISION
Past, present and future partnerships to protect water quality and the ecosystems within the Basin.
Ecosystem Health
We depend on a healthy Great Lakes ecosystem to support human health, economic vitality, and each of our unique experiences of joy, inspiration, and connection to our Great Lakes. Could it be that special windswept beach, boat ride, fishing friendship, swimming & wave bobbing on vacation, the changes of the seasons, the Monarch butterfly migration, skipping stones, the sunset on the horizon?

Community Engagement
Apply your passion for the Great Lakes by joining with others who are making a difference! Communities all around the Great Lakes Basin have action groups. The AOC and ZIP regions in Canada and the United States give special attention to areas that need to be restored. Indigenous Communities of the Great Lakes have long been stewards of the Basin - read some of their stories. What groups are near you? You may just find your next mission on this map from Freshwater Future!
